Rock n Roll San Francisco

It’s always been a bucket list of mine to run across the San Francisco Bridge, and what better way to do it during a race!  Rock n Roll San Francisco Half Marathon definitely didn’t disappoint!  Including HILLS and all!  lol.  Seriously though, I think it goes without saying that you MUST train hills to run San Francisco.

A very organized race!  Rock n Roll made the expo so much fun, everything was very well run.  Even the transportation from finish line to the start line went off without a hitch!  Volunteers were plenty and I saw a good handful of bands throughout the race (where allowed).  Overall, an awesome experience.

I was not sponsored to run this race.  This is all out of my own pocket and all expenses paid by me.  Everything on this blog is my opinion :)

This selfie on race route… Couldn’t get any better than the views!!  The most scenic half marathon I’ve ever ran! :)

Packet pick up time!

My friend Amanda also flew in from Chicago for this race!

Start and end point was in different places.  Race was from Point A to Point B.  So we rode buses to get to our start line.

Race Photos!  Such a ham.. lol.. I couldn’t help but smile at the photographers!  :)
Smile ever MILE always works, I tell ya!

Image I captured with my iPhone during the race.

The bling!

Always so fun when family greets you at the finish with big head posters as a surprise.. LOL!

Another addition to my collection :)

Spring Break so we had a chance to explore San Francisco as well!
